Thanksgiving-- So much more than the food!
The day started with the humming of our new heater, and the sun peeking through our window. And the soft breathing of my husband, trying unsuccessfully to be asleep. There are so many things to be thankful for-- Family close and far, we have been so lucky to see our family all around the country this year. Friends, really our 'everyday' family as my dear sister calls those ones close to her; what would we do with out the sweet people that watch our kids in emergencies, car pool, wipe our tears, and make us laugh in the drudgery of the day. We are grateful for a Job, in a time when many of our friends are looking for work, we may not have much of it but we still have one, and that is some thing to smile about. We are grateful for the gospel of Jesue Christ, people always say I don't know where I'd be without the gospel. For me, maybe its the over active imagination. I know exactly where I'd be, coffee drinking, travel junky. But with the gospel, I just don't know how high I'll go, and that is much more of a journey then anyone that I could invent on my own.
